Niagara Falls Rainbows

We spent much of the day simply gazing at Niagara Falls rainbows…

Christmas Pea Soup Fog – Calling Rudolph …

Christmas Pea Soup Fog – visibility less than 1/8th of a mile and ceilings below 100 feet. CAT III ILS minimums. We need a certified aircraft and a specially certified pilot to fly this. We need Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

CN Tower – SEE IT

Even though skyscrapers in Asia and the Gulf States have eclipsed CN Tower, the Skypod or Nacelle remains the tallest observatory in the entire Western Hemisphere to this day. In the Western Hemisphere it’s CN Tower that still rules the sky.

Impressionist Sunset – SEE IT

This dusk, we saw an Impressionist Sunset that rivals the works of Monet. The sky was lit in blazing hues of yellow and orange, giving way to red and pink. I took these shots with Elsy at home, on Van Buren, and Lafayette Streets, Richmond Terrace, and Clinton Ave.

Amazing NYC Sunset – SEE IT

Amazing NYC Sunset – the entire sky was cast in hues of yellow and orange that reflected off the buildings in Lower Manhattan, Jersey City and Brooklyn.

Tuscan Garden – Columbus Day at Dusk

Nestled in Snug Harbor behind the Staten Island Children’s Museum, Tuscan Garden is one of the most beautiful parts of the complex….

Skylon Tower – See Falls, Toronto, Buffalo

The Skylon Tower’s observation decks are best enjoyed at dusk, where you have views of Niagara Falls, Buffalo, and Toronto. The observation deck is one of the Falls’ best value for the money, but skip the food and eat elsewhere.

Maid of the Mist – August 23, 2015

The Maid of the Mist is a must-do for Niagara Falls visitors. It is the most intimate, beautiful, and adrenaline-driven experiences of the region….I would dare say, skip all the tourist traps. Just get on the boat and on the tower platform!

Southern Magnolia 2015

Our Southern Magnolia produced so many beautiful flowers this year, we stopped counting after 15 or 20 of them. The action started in mid-June and lasted all the way till July.
